A Vitus 979 Aluminium Frame and Forks with Seatpost. A piece of cycling history. As ridden by Shaun Kelly. Size: As stamped on frame 60cms Seat Tube 57cms centre to centre. This is an early frame with the seat tube clamping as shown in photos. In very good condition with all joints sound and very few marks as shown. I have included the Shimano 600 seat tube which can be expensive and difficult to obtain. The frame weighs just 1500 grams and the forks 416 grams so under 2Kgs for a large frame. The rear spacing is 126mm and as the frame is aluminium, I would not recommend trying to stretch it. No overseas buyers. The frame can be viewed in Worthing. I would prefer collection if possible.
