This listing is for my 1960s/early 70s Gitane 59cm road bike. hard to date this but the Durifort tubing became Vitus sometime around the late 60s /early 70s so just going off that. I bought this years ago purely for the big flange hubs and drilled crankset but it's been a great bike and I've used it on a couple of short retro bike events. The tubular tyres are old but hold air well, brakes and gears all work as they should, seat post and stem are both free and I have the original stem to go with the bike as well. I don't really want to sell this but I need to make space and get rid of some bikes (take a look at my other listings). Bike is located in Dumfries, South West Scotland or I can post it for £50.
