To be used with compatible SunTour Accushift index derailleurs, freewheels and chains. Right rear shifter also has a MICRO INDEX mode that is basically a ratchet friction function that may be used with other SunTour non-Accushift index components or other manufacturers' derailleurs, chains and freewheel combinations not compatible with SunTour Accushift index systems.
