This philosophy has been very much embraced by the team at Tweeks Cycles. Sprockets are cut away and drilled to reduce weight without reducing rigidity. All the sprockets and the steel lockring have a nickel-plated finish which provides a hard wearing resistance to corrosion and the cassette is designed for use with Super Narrow 10-speed HG chains.
