Our son has outgrown these FiveTen Trailcross XT cycling shoes which are intended for use with mountain bikes with flat pedals. He has loved these as his first pair of shoes designed for use with mountain bikes. These, paired with a good pair of flat pedals (not included), have helped keep his feet on the pedals most of the time, giving him confidence on the bumpiest trails he’s found! I hope the photos show that the shoes have little sign of wear. The soles with FiveTen’s Stealth(TM) rubber still have well defined grips so should be good for many more miles of adventures for another rider.
